This connection welcomes administrative comments and questions, promoting communication within the ABM organization. As a general rule, ABM does not provide clinical care or guidance by phone or email. If you’d like to find an Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine physician member in your geographical area, please contact us.
If you have questions of a clinical nature, and are not a member of the ABM, please contact local resources for assistance such as your physician, hospital, local lactation consultants, or mother-to-mother support groups. Additionally, you can contact the International Lactation Consultants Association to find a lactation consultant in your area, or La Leche League International to find a local mother-to-mother group. The Office of Women's Health provides a multilingual tollfree breastfeeding helpline that can be reached at 1-800-944-9662.
