Acting Surgeon General Rear Admiral Steven K. Galson, MD, MPH at the First Annual Summit on Breastfeeding in Washington, D.C.

The First Annual Summit on Breastfeeding took place in Washington, D.C. on June 11-12 commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Workshop on Breastfeeding and Human Lactation led by then Surgeon General C. Everett Koop, MD in 1984 on these same days. Regrettably, Dr. Koop was unable to attend the Summit given the travel distance from Dartmouth but we were privileged to have his video-taped remarks, which you can view now on our Streaming Media player on the ABM website.
