When is the last day to submit an abstract?

Submissions are now closed. The last day to submit an abstract was Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 11:59 pm Central time (USA). 

When will I be notified if I will be accepted into the 2024 program?

Notifications will be sent out in late spring 2024.

Do I need to be in-person or can I present virtually?

You are able to present in-person or virtually.

Do I have to attend the conference if accepted? Can a co-author present if the main author isn’t available?

Accepted presenters are required to register for the meeting if they plan to present. If you will be presenting virtually, you may register for the virtual meeting. Yes, a co-author can present in your place if you are unavailable.

Do co-authors need to submit a COI form?

Yes, anyone involved with the abstract must submit a disclosure form or your abstract will not be considered.

Do speakers receive a discount?

Unfortunately, ABM cannot currently afford to offer discounts for registration for speakers. Staff and volunteers are working hard to increase membership and sponsorships to change that in the future!
