Emeritus Membership

Honoring Longstanding Service and Continued Connection

Emeritus membership is a special membership category of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM) designed to recognize physicians who have made significant, longstanding contributions to the field of breastfeeding and lactation medicine and who wish to remain connected to the Academy as they transition beyond active practice.

This category reflects ABM’s deep appreciation for sustained service and its continued fostering of engagement, mentorship, and community among experienced leaders in the field.
